A Standing Ovation

I am so excited to have just finished teaching my first class at Finer Frames in Eagle, Idaho. The workshop lasted 3 hours and I touched on the most important aspects of making a good painting. Some participants were beginners, some had experience painting with a different medium but wanted to try oil painting, and others were very seasoned artists. This workshop was requested by students that watched me illustrate a free demo during the Eagle Plein Air Competition this past June and requested I do additional training. I received a standing ovation at the end of the workshop and the first question was "When will you be teaching other workshops?" It was such a wonderful feeling to know I had done well to reach a class of 12 on my first try. I'm looking forward to a Spring 2019 session.
