Driggs Plein Air

I love Driggs, Idaho and had another wonderful year for the Plein Air Festival in July. Almost all of my finished paintings found new homes as well as every piece I took for display. I returned back to Boise with a couple of pieces that I need to finish this fall. I had permission from the owner, to paint this barn on private property during my visit. It was delightful to be in this wonderful field in solitude to concentrate on my work. I love painting outdoors as I feel completely in the moment and nothing else enters my mind, but the subject at hand-or to find the bug spray!
