Tuscany

I just returned from an amazing painting and site-seeing trip to Italy. I painted with a group of other artists in Tuscany including painting excursions to Sienna and San Gimignano. We stayed at Spannocchia which is an 1100 acre working organic farm. All the food served comes from the farm including wine, olive oil and honey. Spannocchia is a vacation destination for artists, yoga enthusiasts and others who want to escape to the hills of Tuscany. The painting days were wonderful with with the morning mist on the hillside farmland, and the cobblestone streets of the villages. Some artists got distracted by the shopping and gelato. I was also able to spend some time in Florence which is now my most favorite place in the world. I hope to return for more painting (and gelato) one day!
