Still Life Paintings

I am creating my first series of still life paintings which will include 9 paintings. These are all 10x10 and are painted on 1 1/2” thick cradled hardwood. My concept was “kitchen tiles” and are ready to hang unframed in a series of 3, 4, 6 or even 9 depending on your space. I have spent the Montana winter months studying still life painting and I am very excited about this new “Modern Representational” series. I used brushes, make up sponges, palette knives, squeegies and other tools to make interesting marks and textures in these current works.
