International Plein Air Award

I attended “Art in the Open” plein air event in Wexford, Ireland recently with 200 other talented artists from around the world-and won a ''First place award” for the “Quick Draw” part of the competition and it also sold fast to the local art store owner. We had 2 hours to complete our paintings, and it was brave of me to attempt a street scene which I haven’t done before.

We were shuttled by bus to some amazing each day and one was even more breathtaking than the day before. I was thrilled to also sell several of my paintings to local collectors at the event. The locals were so friendly and I made so many new artist friends and hope to see them again. What a trip!!
